Kevin Michael Snyder

From his home near Montgomery Alabama, kevin travels much of the year creating images for commercial clients as well as stock and gallery images.

Beginning in 1987, kevin lived and worked as an Architectural Designer and Building Contractor in the Minneapolis market. Over the next four decades as the owner of Kevin Snyder Construction and Remodeling, kevin honed his business skills and developed a reputation for not only outstanding craftsmanship but also personal integrity.

In 2007 with the downturn in the construction market, kevin decided to focus on photography. He saw the lagging construction market as an excellent opportunity to focus on creating a body of work. Kevin has always been an outdoorsman and enjoys spending his days hiking or on the water. Because of these interests he started a project photographing “Moving Water.”

In 2011 kevin was awarded a McKnight Fellowship for his work, “Moving Water”. Kevin’s fellowship project was in the Northern Fijian Islands aboard the expedition Vessel, Tui Tai. While on the Tui Tai, kevin focused on making underwater imagery as well as documenting the Cultures and Landscapes of the region.

Since the McKnight fellowship kevin has traveled around the world making Landscape and Wildlife images as well as documenting cultures. His work from around the globe can be seen and purchased on the website and his journey can be followed on social media.

Today kevin’s images can be found on the pages of corporate reports, magazines and on the walls of private collectors and commercial clients.
